In A Little Rocket R & R!, Goh caught a Goldeen while fishing at Resort Area. In Historical Mystery Tour!, multiple Goldeen were in a stall run by Team Rocket. It and Juan's other Pokémon were captured by Team Rocket, but they all worked together to escape. In The Great Eight Fate!, a Goldeen was part of Juan's Sootopolis City Water Exhibit. It proceeded to attack Pikachu with a Horn Attack, which severely injured him. In Here Comes the Squirtle Squad, a Squirtle knocked Pikachu into a lake, which angered a Goldeen living in it. It wasn't seen very much throughout the series due to it being a water-bound species, flailing when displaced from it. Goldeen debuted in Pokémon Emergency!, under the ownership of Misty. Goldeen in the anime Major appearances Misty's Goldeen In Generation I, Waterfall was its signature move. It is known as the "Water Dancer" due to its elegant movements in the water. Its strong fins allow it to maintain a steady speed of five knots while swimming upstream. It can be seen swimming upstream in large schools during the breeding season in spring. Goldeen is a very common sight in any body of fresh water, including ponds, lakes, and rivers. Humans swimming near it must exercise caution lest Goldeen rams them. It competes with others of its kind to determine which has the strongest, thickest horn. Goldeen has a wild temperament and will use its horn to smash its way to freedom if kept in an aquarium. Its tail is admired by many for its beauty and similarity to a ballroom dress. Goldeen's billowing tail fin is orange around the base and turns white toward the edges. It has a small, wavy dorsal fin surrounded by an orange patch and long pectoral fins with orange markings at the bases. On its forehead is a large horn, which is larger on a male than on a female. It has circular blue eyes with orange lids and prominent pink lips. Goldeen is a white piscine Pokémon with orange markings. It evolves into Seaking starting at level 33. Goldeen ( Japanese: トサキント Tosakinto) is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
